IMG_0670.JPG - Unfortunately, The remnants of Tropical Storm Danny caught up with us.Hopes of reaching the summit of Mt Washington was now a thing of the past. Our only thoughts were "how the heck are we going to get outta here?"Get into treeline quickly. Step carefully on the steep, wet rocks. With 50 mph winds at our back, rain and fog nearly blinding us.Along with 24 other hikers, we head down the most direct route. It also happens to put us 25 miles on the other side of our car.Thank god for fellow hikers willing to give me lift.We all survived. Broke camp. Headed home for a hot shower and a good nights sleep.
